ARTIFICE 1

THIS GESTALT ARTIFICE MATHEMATICALLY ARRANGES A LARGE MATRIX OF CURVES, ELLIPSES, AND BANKS FOR USE IN ACTION PARK DESIGN. THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE A SET OF SYMPATHETIC GEOMETRIES TO ACT AS STANDARD FOR TRAINING FACILITIES AND COMPETITION AREAS THAT WOULD BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE OLYMPICS, AS WELL AS TO EASE THE DIALOG BETWEEN AN ARCHITECT OR CONTRACTOR UNAWARE OF THE INTIMATE GEOMETRIES AND A SKATEBOARDING PUBLIC, THROUGH THE USE OF A LOGICAL VISUAL LIBRARY. APPROX. VELOCITY VALUES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH EACH PLANE.

HOLISM PARKS 1

This park was developed in part of a serial exercise toward a holistic entity between the skateboarding public, skatepark designers and crafters and a competition circuit that would best promote the entire participant body and  proactively advance the activities future. 

Built by cities interested in bidding for the annual meeting, each park would materialize by a separate design/build firm. The parks would be open to the public through an annual membership fee in order to promote the parks maintenance and expansions.

HIGH SPEED RAIL PARKS

Jackson Parks is in the early conceptual stages of proposing a series of parks and movement areas nested directly near major stations of the high-speed rail system proposed by the US department of transportation.
